ASHLARS FOR WIND TOWERS
The production of prefabricated hollow truncated conical ashlars, with variable diameters (2.80 - 7.50 m), with a height of approximately 4.00 m, takes place with the use of specific equipment for the assembly of circular reinforcements and metal formworks (platforms + sides) of various sizes. The production is completed in a covered area intended for the finishing of each ashlar, before storage in the external yards. For the production of the ashlars, mixtures of self-compacting concrete (S.C.C.) with resistance class up to C70/85 are used. The sheet metal sheaths are positioned in the thickness of the ashlar walls for the subsequent positioning of the prestressing cables, inserted from above during the tower assembly phase, which solidify the ashlars with the foundation cast on site. In the period 2007 - 2009, approximately 1,700 prefabricated ashlars were produced on behalf of the German company Enercon GmbH, intended for wind towers built both in Italy and abroad, with a total height of up to 100 metres.

MONOBLOC ELECTRIC CABINS
The electrical substations consist of a prefabricated monobloc box and underlying foundation tank, with lengths ranging from 2.16 to 7.50 m, width equal to 2.50 m, height 2.40 m and thickness of the walls from 8 to 12 cm.
For this production, specific metal formworks are used (platforms + external sides + internal buffers) of various sizes. The production is completed, in a special covered area, with the external and internal finishing of the cabins (grouting, painting, assembly of doors and windows), before storage in the external yards. For the production we use mixtures of self-compacting concrete (S.C.C.) with resistance class C 25/30 (lightened with expanded clay) and C 30/37. The openings necessary for the subsequent installation of the machines are obtained on the floor slab, while the openings for doors and air intakes are obtained on the walls. In the period 2010 - 2011 over 600 monobloc cabins with related foundations were produced on behalf of the company TCT srl of Brindisi.
